The Transalp may not look like the dual-sport motorcycles you see in the magazine advertisements. But it's an ideal bike for this terrain, and I'd prefer it (an understatement) anyday to a bigger, heavier bike. Mariano Calderon says he'd trust a Transalp all the way from Alaska to Ushuaia.
